The role

Come on board as our new Logistics Specialist, where you'll be the backbone of keeping everything in line. The mission? To champion operational excellence in our supply chain. This means managing our 3PL partners, carriers, and supporting all areas of our business with a reliable and profitable flow of goods. Key tasks include our 3PL partners, carriers, profitability analysis, SLA adherence, and omnichannel delivery.

Work tasks

  • Oversee tracking and management of inventory levels, ensuring accurate reporting of both availability and value KPIs as well as coordination of inventory accuracy routines. 
  • Support inbound logistics with coordination and coverage when needed.
  • Support the fulfillment process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring that products are shipped to customers on time. 
  • Oversee the compliance of Db with cross-border regulations and routines needed to ensure the smooth flow of goods into our export markets. 
  • Monitor warehouse processes, ensuring efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations in collaboration with our 3PL partners to meet Db specifications 
  • Maintain and grow relationships with carriers and other logistics suppliers. Constantly looking for opportunities to grow our network and improve the services offered to our customers. 
  • Use data analytics to monitor performance metrics such as delivery times, costs, and inventory turnover, aiming to improve operational efficiency and inform future development and investments. 
  • Ensure that all logistics processes adhere to legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Working closely with the CSR team on the delivery of our sustainability roadmap in logistics. 
  • Work on optimising logistics costs while maintaining or improving service quality. 
  • Address and resolve any issues related to delivery delays, inventory shortages, or transportation disruptions. 

Qualifications & Personal attributes

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail logistics management or relevant alternative experience. 
  • Advanced excel skills. 
  • Previous warehouse capacity planning experience desired. 
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating between various stakeholders, like suppliers, warehouse staff, and internal teams. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus, but not required.
  • A positive culture driver with a proactive and optimistic approach to problem-solving. 
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and supply chain activities simultaneously. 
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis. 
  • Familiarity with legal regulations surrounding transportation, import/export, and safety compliance. With cross-border routine and documentation experience essential.
